WAR PAINT: PROFILES OF COURAGE
NOVEMBER 7 - DECEMBER 9, 2022
SELBY FOUNDATION GALLERY
The Galleries and Exhibitions Department of Ringling College of Art + Design in collaboration with the Ringling College Veteran’s Club, is proud to share the third annual “War Paint: Profiles in Courage.” Featuring portraits of local veterans painted by Ringling College students and faculty, this exhibition offers viewers the opportunity to come face to face with the uniformed heroes whose contributions form a piece of the mosaic that is America’s identity.
The images tell stories from WWll, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and current enlisted troops, and it is the hope of Ringling College Galleries that they will put a human face to these conflicts that captures what’s at stake for our service men and women.
This exhibition will be on view from November 7–December 9, 2022. In-person viewings are free and open to the public Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. The Selby Gallery is located on-campus at Ringling College of Art and Design. For more information , please visit www.ringlingcollege.gallery.
